Hey so my boss and i just finished tearing the inside of an old. Barn apart and framing it into a 2 bed 1.5 bath plus an office. Sq ft is about 2300. Dry wall was just installed and textured and now its on me to paint and prime ceilings, walls and trim. Paint is paid for and supplies are paid for by my boss to help me out. My husband and I decided that we wanted to update our deck to have a modern cable railing...our house is very "treehouse" like, sitting high up in the words and the new cable railing really opens up the view. The guys striped the deck of its old paint and got started on taking down the old railings--they actually added an extra 6" around the perimeter of the deck to serve as a better support for the new posts that were put in and what a difference! Johnny and Robert, who worked together on the labor intensive deck, are truly artists.....cutting perfect curves into areas of the railing where we have a large boulder in our yard and using their creativity to further enforce our deck--talk about attention to detail! Its really hard to believe that we're living in the same house and thanks to Rome, there was never a time when I felt stressed or pressured to make a decision. I have used Flying Colors in the past for roof cleaning and refurbishing and painting my cedar siding. They did an excellent job then so when damage was done to my roof due to a fallen tree I immediately thought of them. I called and within a day they had someone out covering the tree and hole in my roof with a tarp to prevent rain from doing further damage. Then I needed to do serious tree removal throughout the whole property including the roof, but as soon as that was done, I called Steve Totilo the owner and within 3 days he had a crew working on the repairs and reshingling which were done in short order. Hi Dan, your pricing is definitely going to be on the high end of our pricing tables. Trimming tudor-style jobs can take a long time, especially if you’re cutting in near the body color (painting 3 sides of the trim instead of just the front). The color change is going to increase time even more because you might have to go over the trim a couple times by hand just to cover. I would bid high on this job.
